On hearing about film industry our mind definitely thinks about technological and commercial institution of film making.i.e.film making companies, film studios, screenwriting,pre production.Because film making is more expensive so it led to a company which can provide equipments at low cost and under budget.Now this time independent film making has become it as a competition.So different countries are involved it as mention under below-

MODERN FILM INDUSTRY
The primarily part of film business is involved to United State. Nigeria , Hong -Kong, and India.The film is not shoot at a single place .Various countries are involved in it having good place.For example Indian movies are mostly filmed in America , Canada, Europe,etc.& U.S. movies are filmed in italy, england, etc

the next primarily step in cinema was developing of  natural color, that has a mean of photo graphical captured color to from the nature.It was very nice appearing rather than handed color which can not visuallise naturality.
In 1934, some short subjected films were released with a technicolor process.From then making of color films increased slowly slowly year after year.
In 1960 the succeeding decades appear a change in production,direction and style of film.In 20th century many types of New wave movements(Indian new wave, french new wave,Japanees new wave,& New Hollywood )
arises and various school of film making drived more independent film makers due to which the change in cinema appeared in the latter half of 20th century.In 1990s to2000s digital technology introduced and make the cinema popular all over the world.Now 3D technology has brought  a big change in this huge industry.

The motion picture system was developed in a laboratory of Thomas Edison, who developed a motion picture system, named as kinetoscope.On april 19 the report was published in scientific american.
In the late of 19th century many researchers feels that as they are known today were a practical possibility.W.K.L.Dickson was the first who designed a succesfull apparatus who was working under the direction of Thomas Alva Edison.The successfully designed camera of his was called as kinetograph,which was perfectly patented in 1891.In 1893 the first result of it was shown in public by using the viewing apparatus, which is called kinetoscope.In Paris in december  1895,the first show of projected film was shown to an audience.The Edison company made his own company after this date just like other inventors.
Worlds Columbian Exposition was held in 1893 atChicago in which Mybridge gave a series of lecture in detail about the science of animal locomotion.

In 1739 and 1748 , David Hume illuminated books A Treatise of Human Nature and  An Inquiry concerning Human Understanding, which include arguments about association and causes of idea with visual images.In 1882 Etienne jules Marray, invented a very helpfull chronophotographic gun . which has a capacity to capture 12 consecutive frames a second. He used this gun for studying animals and human locomotion.
Roundhay Garden scene was second experimental film which was directed by louice le prince on october 14,1888.in roundhay , leeds UK.england, is known for earlier serviver for motion picture.
After some year in june 1889,William Fries Green make a issue a patent no. 10131 for his chromotographic camera, which was capable to take almost ten photographs per second by using perforated celluloid film. the British photographic news on february 28,1890 published a report on camera.

When we talk about precursors of film automatically our attention goes to dance and theater. that is correct dance and theater are  ancient precursory of film and have most common element such as scripts, actors, direction,audience ,scores & choreography etc.        
Now we point about first technological precursor of film. no doubt it was "Pinhole Camera'', followed by more advanced  and modern camera obscura. which was first illuminated in detail by Alhazen in hi self written book of optics.but after some time Giambattista della porta make a great effect and perfected it.concept was following this-light is inverted through a small hole or lens from outside and projected on a surface or screen. then using of obscura camera it is possible to make a moving image.but it is noted that it is possible in the absence of recording technology in real time.

(4)films were most popular from the late of Victorian age.because it was a very easy way for entertainment to the comparison of going to amusement park  and travelling long distance to see drama.
(5)In early days of cinema inventors worked hard to machines for making and showing films.

(1) the origin of films are almost hundreds of years . that included a play ,dancing singing etc. But these were also a part of film. it had also common elements of film such as script, direction, production, audience,actors,storyboards and score.
(2) That time modern technologies were not available due to which the images were not recorded for replaying as shown in films at present time.
(3)the two dimensional machine was made in 1860 to produce images in motion. the devices were zeotrope, mutoscope and praxinoscope.
(4)these machines had simple optics devices that could display sequence of pictures at sufficient speed for the images on the picture that's why images were seemed as moving this phenomenon is termed .as persistence of vision.
(5)generally pictures needed a carefully designed to get a desired effect. the process which comes under this process to modify the film is called as animation.
